Maureen has post graduate training in relationship therapy She has developed her approach to Relationship Therapy to include Mindful awareness, this involves helping the couple to develop stronger communication and conflict resolution skills enabling couples to develop shared meaning and deeper connection in their relationships.
From time to time we all can experience difficulty in our family relationships. It shows great strength when we have the courage to engage together to help solve problems that can arise across the lifespan of the family. Opening space for family members to explore their presenting issues can be a healing process that enables families to listen to one another in a respectful way. This can bring about a softening that strengthens family bonds and heals deep wounds.
